Read into this if you like

What the ... MTB shoes? In a roadie house?

True story. Now, what should I do with them? Whatever it is, it'll have to wait a while. Like July, maybe.

Back to work!

I hear shoes like are not great for vacuuming, but work well for mowing the lawn. - Or even thinking about mowing the lawn

Especially if you have to mow on a hill. You can really get some great grip.

Or you could be like me and use those shoes to:
1. Teach Spin Classes
2. Ride RAGBRAI
3. Ride trail once a year.
4. Ride tandem with wife.

lucas - there are a couple of steep bits on our lawn. I'll put in the toe spikes!

sean - yeah, what you said.

johnny - hmmm ... those don't seem like appropriate uses for those shoes.

buttsy - it's going to be a while until they go outside, unfortunately. lots of snow cover here, which is going to make melting and drying a long, long process.

Size 44? Those would look good on my feet this season. If hell freezes over and I get a podium finish i would be sure to mention your name as a fine sponsor.
